Happy Birfday, Cammie!
My niece had her 5th birthday this past week. It made me feel old. That aside, it was a fun time. Cake was eaten, presents were open, and all the little rugrats from my sister's neighborhood went swimming in the kiddie pool. Oh, and cammie showed off her new rollerblades. She is pretty good with them for her age. Cammie seems to have much more boldness when it comes to learning things like skating or how to ride a bike than either her mother or I were when we were little.... Cammie has had her training wheels off her bike for a year now. I didn't get that far until I was 6. And she's a whiz with puzzles. I'm proud of her!
Whenever I look at her, I can't help thinking how much she looks like her mother when she was that age. It's a bit haunting.
Cammie's such a joy to me, though. She's helped me to feel not so shy around kids. And I can't wait to be a mom.... I hope when I have kids someday they are as cute and as silly as she is!

Cute! I'm glad you've changed your mind about having kids.
Last I heard, you moved to England to marry a Brit, and your softhome address quit working. Now you're apparently back in Wisconsin? I'm so cornfuzzled... Tell me the story?
You know who I am, and my email address is on my profile. I'd love to get back in touch!
I never left Wisconsin. I was hoping to move, or get him to come here. But it didn't work out, and the engagement ended.
I ditched the softhome address because someone had hijacked it to send spam to other people. :/ Alas, I knew not how to fix it.
I like your avatar!
Sorry to hear you broke up with that guy. But it sounds like you found a replacement!
Gonna email me?
Oh, and do you still have that cute kitty? I liked him.
Otay, otay, I'll email.
I'm bad at keeping up with it, but I'll try.
I wish I still had him, but when I came back to the states, I've been staying in nothing but places that don't allow pets. :/ I miss him, though. Dom was a great kitty. He ended up staying with people who have 100 acres in the Kentucky mountains, though, so he has tons of space to romp around. And you know how much he loved being outside!
